Newborn photography studio Rockhampton

A little haven for your growing family.

When you’re holding your newborn in your arms, everything else fades. The to-do list. The chaos. The noise. There’s just this tiny human, and the feeling that time is already slipping too fast.

That’s why this studio exists—to help you pause time, just for a moment.

A CALM SPACE MADE FOR FAMILIES

The studio is thoughtfully designed for new parents and little ones. Soft, golden light. Comfy seating. A quiet corner to feed or settle your baby.

Your studio newborn session is gentle, calm, and completely guided by your baby. It’s about capturing the way you hold your littlest love—the way you look at them with awe, tenderness, and overwhelming emotion.

You don’t need to know how to pose. You just need to show up, exactly as you are. I’ll guide you gently through everything—from what to wear to how to hold your baby for the most heartfelt captures.

We were lucky enough to experience a maternity and newborn session with Alice. She made our crazy family of five feel comfortable and amongst the mayhem of our little girls, captured stunning photos we will treasure forever. Our gallery brought tears to my tired mum eyes as she truly captured US!

What can you expect?

A warm welcome. From the moment you walk in, you’ll be looked after. I have a range of newborn outfits, blankets and wraps to choose from for your session.

No awkward poses. I keep it relaxed and natural—capturing the way you actually hold and love your baby. I use gentle swaddling techniques to create calm, timeless portraits of your newborn.

All the essentials covered. Nappies, wipes, snacks, muslin cloths, a sound machine—I’ve made the studio a space you can relax in.

Baby-led sessions. If your little one needs time, we take it. I’m also experienced at settling your baby for your session and give you a tips ahead of time, so you feel prepared.

Photos that make you cry (happy tears of course ;). Honest. Heartfelt. Full of connection.

Why the studio?

For many families, coming to the studio means less to worry about. No tidying the house. No wondering if the light will be right. Just a purpose-built space where you can be completely present.

It also means your gallery is delivered sooner, and you’ll have the chance to see and touch the beautiful fine art products available—timeless ways to preserve your baby’s earliest memories.

And after everything you’ve just been through—growing, birthing, feeding, loving—you deserve that.

Working with Alice was a dream! She made my husband and me feel at ease and made the kids feel like they had a super fun mate to play with. Alice well and truly over delivered and captured the true essence of our little family. We will treasure our photos forever and are eternally grateful to Alice for making the magic happen!
