I’m Alice, a family photographer in Rockhampton and Yeppoon, and I get a front-row seat to something most of us are too busy to notice: the good old days aren’t coming. They’re here.

How should we prepare for a family photoshoot?
Once your session is booked, I’ll send you a detailed styling guide with outfit inspiration and tips to make the process easy. I always recommend choosing clothes that reflect you, whether that’s earthy naturals or a mix of bright colours. A selection of textures adds depth to your portraits – think linen, knits, leather, denim. We want coordinated, not matching. Nothing too busy or bold — the goal is timeless, not trendy.
Can we bring our pets to the family photoshoot?
Absolutely. Pets are such an important part of the family, and I love including them in your session. Just let me know ahead of time so we can ensure the location (and timing) suits everyone, including fur babies.
How long will the photoshoot last?
Family sessions usually run for about 1–1.5 hours, depending on the size of your family and how things are flowing on the day. There’s always enough time for everyone to settle in, relax, and enjoy the experience, without feeling rushed.
What's included in a family session and what does it cost?
The session, help with planning and styling beforehand, and a design appointment where we turn your favourites into artwork. Most families invest between $1,800 and $3,000, and you can download my price guide for the detail. Digital only packages start at $795.
Can we choose a location for our photoshoot?
Yes, and I’ll help you find the perfect one. Wherever feels most like you: the beach at golden hour, your own backyard, a favourite park, or somewhere your family loves to be. I photograph families right across Rockhampton and Yeppoon.
What if the kids don't cooperate on the day?
That’s completely expected, and it’s genuinely not a problem. I don’t do stiff and posed. I keep it playful and let kids be kids, so the chaos you’re worried about is usually where the best portraits come from.
