It’s a chance to slow down, to connect with your little one and create some really beautiful portraits that you’ll be able to share with them in years to come.

Did you know, you only pay one session fee if you book your newborn and maternity session at the same time. Woo hoo!
Once you’ve chosen your date, I’ll call you to
- choose a location that speaks to you
- decide what to wear
- work out where in your home you plan to display your artwork.

This session can be whatever you want it to be…it is about you after all!
It can be an outdoor session at the beach catching that lovely golden light or where you feel most relaxed – at home.
You can be fully clothed, partially or go nude.
The thought of it can feel very daunting but we’ll speak beforehand to get to know one another and find out what you want from your session.
Then when it comes to your photo session, it feels like an old friend is walking you through the process as we create something together.

If you’ve booked a newborn and maternity session, you’ll see the images from both at the one design appointment.
Within 10 days of your last session, I’ll invite you to my home to view your images and I’ll help you to design your artwork on the day.
Artwork prices start at $495 and collections from $1,395. Digital only packages start at $795.
Then it’s just a matter of waiting for your artwork to arrive!

If you find it hard to visualise what a frame or canvas might look like on your wall, simply take a photo and, using a specialised program, I can show you.
When is the best time to schedule a maternity photoshoot?
The sweet spot for maternity sessions is between 28 and 32 weeks. Around this time, your bump is beautifully round, but you’re likely not feeling too uncomfortable just yet. You’ve still got the energy to move around, and we can take our time creating something really special — before the final countdown begins.
What should I wear for a maternity photoshoot?
You’re welcome to dress however feels most you. Flowy dresses, knits that hug your bump, or even something more relaxed like jeans unbuttoned at the front with a soft button-up shirt — all of these photograph beautifully. I also love Bimby and Roy sets for a casual, feminine look. Once you’ve booked, I’ll send through some styling tips and help you plan what to wear so you feel amazing and confident.
Can I include my partner or children in the maternity session?
Absolutely — in fact, I encourage it. Including your partner and kids helps tell the full story of your growing family. These sessions are a lovely chance to slow down and soak in the love and anticipation that surrounds this new chapter.
What is included in the maternity session?
Your session includes the shoot itself, personalised styling guidance, and a design consultation afterwards where I’ll help you choose your favourite images and turn them into printed artwork — whether that’s an album or something to hang proudly in your home. If you’ve booked a newborn session as well, this appointment will take place after that.
Do you provide any special packages for maternity and newborn photoshoots?
Yes, I offer maternity sessions complimentary when booking your newborn session at the same time. It’s the perfect way to document your story — from bump to baby — with beautiful, cohesive imagery that captures both stages of this fleeting season.
